Résidence Odalys le Village Camarguais les Gardians

Clean room but in need of refreshing (shower head that doesn't work, toilet door that's hard to open and rubs on the floor). The bar closes at 10 p.m., arriving at 10:05 p.m. the staff was on site, not very commercial. The buffet to avoid, both for the hot dishes filled with flies and for the breakfast summed up with a hot orange juice and crushed and dry bread which must date from the day before.

We took a week's vacation via the ODALYS website. The images and video are tempting but once there it’s a NIGHTMARE. Very strong smell of humidity, Invasion of ants in the apartment (they climb on the beds, food, belongings, etc.), dirty dishes and accommodation. No storage for food and very low water flow. The pool is freezing even in the heat. The activities are located outside the residence in non-air-conditioned places such as the jail marquee. The residence and the exteriors are not maintained (everything is fallow etc…) the service is non-existent, the accommodation manager brushes aside any dispute and is completely unpleasant and haughty (according to her: ants are normal, we are in the Camargue, the lack of storage due to their developer, the smell of humidity is the air conditioning etc…, moreover if we are not happy we have to look elsewhere…). Furthermore, the small road to get there is winding and dangerous when two cars pass each other. The worst vacation of my life if you are looking for a place to relax and have a pleasant stay, ESPECIALLY do not stop at this residence where vacationers are left to their own devices!

As for the accommodation, pleasant, well equipped (air conditioning) The double bed, with two beds put together, is not very pleasant. The bathroom transforms into a paddling pool with each shower. A shower screen is missing, which floods the floor and also the vanity unit which is attached to the shower. No storage, nor a shelf to put your toiletries. The bathroom door (sliding) allows a glimpse of the person on the toilet via the bed....
